Whether you are an aspiring professional performer, dancer, actor, or musician or someone just looking to have fun and learn something new, Spotlight helps all artists explore their craft. Our teachers are experienced and working artists looking to share their expertise with you.
We specialize in training singers and instrumentalists to be the best musicians and performers they can be. We empower our students by using traditional and creative techniques that ignite a passion for the arts. We will teach you proper technique, ear training, basic theory, how to read music, and develop your repertoire. Our job is to help you reach your fullest performance potential!

Teacher Experience:
As a passionate advocate of community engagement performance, Connor Thummel has co-founded ensembles across the country, and is now a co-producer with the Shift Orchestra Project in Boston. Before arriving in Boston, Mr. Thummel co-directed and performed with Benefit Brass, a Chicago-based non-profit brass ensemble that organized benefit concerts for charities. While completing his undergraduate degree at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, he was also a member of Classical Connections, a student-run organization that presents performances to the underserved.

We provide a variety of services in the performing arts including private voice and instrumental lessons, acting classes, audition prep, master classes and college admissions.
Our studio is like a family
We learn, share, laugh, grow, and connect. We believe that each student is unique and needs to be nurtured in a way that best strengthens the teacher/student relationship. We give our all with every lesson and expect the same of our students. We work hard and play even harder, laughing throughout our lessons, yet learning the entire way!
