12-Week Movie Making with Scratch, age 6+, 1-hr/wk + unlimited project support on-demand

Let’s have fun learning movie making with Scratch!

Students will have fun learning to create their own movie with an easy language to learn – SCRATCH! This class is an interactive activity which will be done online. Students will be learning from the comfort of their own home!

Highly interactive. Students will interact directly with the instructors just like in the classroom. We use various tools like Powerpoint and Nexclap (our own product developed for students), and screenshares to help students progress through their learning. 

Instructors adjust the pace based on the skills of each individual student. Students are grouped with others at their skill level and all receive individualized support to ensure they are learning (and loving) movie making. Additional projects and “homework” is provided so students can continuing learning and practicing between sessions.

Note: The course outline is a general guideline. Teachers ensure class pace supports the entire to ensure sutdents get the hang of coding and creativity.

Duration: 12-weeks 

Recurrence: 1 session per week, homework and project support on-demand 

Session Length: 1 hr per session, supplemental video and exercises

Class Size: 4-24, unlimited make-up sessions, 1:6 teacher:student ratio

• Students are evaluated for knowledge and skill to ensure proper class placement
