6-Month Website Building Workshop, Sunday’s May-Oct, ages 11+

Bring your website design vision to life with YoungGates. 

The Internet and Web are already an integrated part of our daily lives. But few know how it works, and the power it could give us. In this series of classes, we introduce the student to implement modern web pages with HTML and CSS.Students will be able to code up a web page by choosing topic of their interest.

In the next semester we will introduce JavaScript which allows them to make the page dynamic. For example, JavaScript allows changing text on the page, creating pop-up messages, and validating text in text boxes to make sure required fields have been filled. They will understand server side programming , build real time web applications and do data validations as well.

Duration: 6-months

Recurrence: 1x weekly

Session Length: 60 minutes

Student Age & Experience: Ideal for students age 11+. All experience levels welcomed. 

Scheduling: Coordination of course access informtion will occur directly with your YoungGates instructor. 

Parent Information: Students are encouraged to apply the learned concepts to their personal webpage after the class.
